Al Solito Posto | Padova — Restaurant in Padua

The first time was good, with no problems. The second time was terrible. Firstly, no Sprite. OK, not the end of the world. Then I got my fried pizza - not bad. Then... my wife watched me eat while waiting for her pizza. And waiting. I finished, still no pizza. They weren't exactly busy and there were 3 people waiting on what customers were there. When we asked, the man seemed surprised but went away. Then a lady brought the pizza and said there had been a problem. The problem? "We forgot". No apologies but never mind, maybe we'll get a good discount. Discount? 2 euros! Still no apology....

I tried a lot of restaurants in Italy, but this is the Best one. The best. Food is amazing, very friendly staff. The menu is not in english but that's the best thing because this is for Italians and Italians know the real taste of the Italian food. This restaurant provides top quality food. Amazing environment. Better to book reservation because I'll be always full. Must visit to try and finally I'm happy to pay for what I ate. Highly Recommended !!!. Non capisco perché da un po’ di tempo si legge in più ristoranti “impasto pizza napoletana” (e qui ti fanno pagare anche l’extra 😱!!!!). O la fai o non la fai la pizza napoletana! Comunque per fortuna è buona anche se mignon. Il ristorante però è un’accozzaglia di cucina, calabrese, napoletana, veneta ecc, a mio parere bisogna scegliere una strada altrimenti è tutto un caos, come lo è l’entrata del locale: bancone adibito ad ordinazioni, a ritiro ordinazioni, a pagamenti sia dell’asporto sia della consumazione sul posto, dei camerieri che prendono le portate, e dulcis in fundo il forno a legna attaccato, che fa un calore addosso ai clienti ammassati in una fila disordinata per pagare, per prendere la pizza da asporto (o ordinarla sul posto) prendere da bere, per pagare (mentre aspetti che il titolare/cassiere prende pure le telefonate degli ordini). Non vi dico il pavimento le condizioni! Giustamente è tutto concentrato li il casino e nessuno potrebbe (per fortuna purtroppo) pulire tra i trecento piedi della gente! Inoltre, il condizionatore al piano terra molto grande (perché c’è il forno) posizionato giusto sulla testa dei clienti seduti sotto, rinfresca ben poco rispetto alla sua grandezza; al piano superiore si soffoca perché il condizionatore delle dimensioni casalinghe (si adatto ad un appartamento bilocale) non riesce a rinfrescare, sia per la gente numerosa e per il calore che sale dal forno a legna. Insomma il locale è storico ed è rimasto identico nel tempo e non credo cambierà, per cui ci andrò non nel fine settimana, sempre per la pizza napoletana, anche perché è a due passi...
